The Town of Manchester will save more than $100,000 annually through seven solar systems.
Through the Connecticut Green Bank’s Solar Marketplace Assistance Program (MAP), Manchester installed solar photovoltaic systems at seven municipal buildings, including six schools. Solar MAP provides turnkey support from start to finish to make it easier for towns to identify projects that will provide savings, to access necessary incentives and financing, and to add much-needed capacity to manage project implementation and construction.
“We are excited to lead the way in partnering with Solar Map to reduce energy costs for Manchester Schools and municipal buildings. This project showcases the Town’s ongoing commitment to prioritizing renewable efforts and is one step closer to ensuring a cleaner and more sustainable future for the Manchester community.”
