Dan Smith

Director, Financial Reporting

Dan started with the Green Bank in 2021 in the role of Associate Director of Financial reporting within the accounting team. Dan’s responsibilities include preparing regular and ad-hoc compliance reporting for specific investments, loan partners, bonds and subsidiaries of the Green Bank, assisting the Executive VP of Finance and Administration with preparation of the audited Annual Comprehensive Financial Report, and assisting with the preparation of the annual budget. Additional responsibilities include special projects related to accounting and tax research including new GASB statement implementation.

Previously to joining the Green Bank, Dan spent 10 years in public accounting, most recently as an audit manager at blumshapiro and subsequently CliftonLarsonAllen through merger.

Dan is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), and attended the Isenberg School of Management at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where he received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and a Bachelor of Science in Sport Management from University of Massachusetts, Amherst.
