Corey Lesniak

Associate Director, Portfolio Management

Corey joined the Connecticut Green Bank in 2022, and he manages a team focused on optimizing the performance of assets owned by the Green Bank.

Prior to joining the Green Bank, Corey’s career has concentrated on deploying large scale power generation infrastructure. Most recently Corey was the Director of Operations at CTEC Solar, where he led the establishment of the company’s operations and maintenance division as well as participated in development and construction of solar facilities throughout the northeast. While at Gemma Power Systems, Corey supported critical activities to execute EPC agreements, with total contracted work valued near $3 billion. Corey also has dedicated a significant portion of his career to engineering power generation facilities in roles with General Electric, Alstom Power, and Sargent and Lundy LLC.

Corey holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Syracuse University and an MBA focused in Sustainability from Yale School of Management. He is also a Licensed Professional Engineer.
