Webinar on the Green Bank’s new method to advance the electric vehicle (EV) infrastructure market
Special Guest: Sue Hall, CEO of the Carbon Neutral Business Network
Date: Tuesday, Aug. 7, 2018
Time: 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM
EVs are cleaner than conventional automobiles to begin with, and as more renewables power the electricity grid their fuel gets cleaner over time. Have you ever wondered if there’s a way to value that impact? Join this webinar to learn our plans for capturing and monetizing the environmental benefits of driving electric.
The Green Bank is a founding member of the EV Charging Carbon Coalition, a group of organizations committed to advancing EV charging infrastructure with the help of voluntary carbon credit purchasers. This coalition includes the Carbon Neutral Cities Alliance; Electrify America; EVgo, Exelon, and Siemens. The group recently developed a methodology to quantify the greenhouse gas emissions reduced when an EV displaces a conventional vehicle, and to measure those reductions as electricity is dispensed during EV charging sessions. This opens up a potential new value stream for EV charging station owners.
Join us to learn about our plans to deliver better revenue and economics for EV charging infrastructure, supporting the local market by aggregating and selling carbon offsets on behalf of station owners.
