Hydrogen Power Task Force Meetings
With the passage of Special Act 22-8, the Hydrogen Task Force was created to study hydrogen-fueled energy in the state’s economy and energy infrastructure. By January 15, 2023, the Hydrogen Task Force shall submit a report on its findings and recommendations to the joint standing committee of the General Assembly.
The final report of the Hydrogen Task Force has been submitted to the Connecticut Legislature. It is available here.

As a result of the efforts of the Task Force, Public Act 23-156 “An Act Implementing Recommendations of the Hydrogen Task Force” received nearly unanimous bipartisan support of 3 of 6 of its recommendations, including a nation-leading provision that mandates that hydrogen projects secure community benefit agreements.
