multifamily housing innovations network
The Connecticut Multifamily Housing Innovations Network is a group of multifamily housing stakeholders supported by the Connecticut Green Bank and focused on improving the performance, sustainability, affordability and resilience of multifamily housing across the state. Network participants include multifamily housing owners and developers, energy consultants, community organizations, government agencies, financing organizations, utility representatives, architects, engineers and other stakeholders.
The purpose of the Network is to provide a forum where participants can:
- discuss critical issues impacting the development and delivery of multifamily housing;
- explore new technologies and design, construction and operations strategies;
- review best practice case studies; and
- share practical, on-the-ground information based on their own experiences.
The goal of all these activities is to help Network members accelerate the development and deployment of sustainable, high performance multifamily housing across Connecticut.
The Multifamily Housing Innovations Network meets the third Friday of each month from 11:30 am to 1 pm (previously in-person, now virtually). A typical meeting includes a presentation on a topic of interest followed by lively discussions among the participants on how to apply the information presented to their own practices. Upcoming meetings and their presentation topics are listed below. The Previous Meeting Presentations archive provides recorded versions of Network meetings going back to 2017.

Please Join Us for the Next Presentation in Our Ongoing Technology Series
Featuring LUXWALL Inc.’s Innovative Glass Solutions with Jack Cunningham, Director of Sales
Via Zoom, Friday, January 31, 2025
11:30 am – 12:30 pm
We are pleased to announce the second in our new Innovative Technology Series, where we feature presentations on new and cutting-edge technologies and the manufacturers who produce them.
Please join us to hear Jack Cunningham, Director of Sales at LUXWALL Inc., present on an innovative new, high-performance glass technology that significantly reduces building heating and cooling costs, lowering carbon emissions. He will describe the basic principles and specifications of the technology and provide case study examples of where it has been used.
Windows are traditionally overlooked in energy efficiency projects because their payback periods can be very long. This presentation will showcase a new strategy for incorporating windows into EE upgrade projects, so come prepared to join the conversation on this new technology.
Click the link below to register. Immediately after registering, you will receive a confirmation email from Zoom with a link to the Friday, January 31 presentation.
Please note that Zoom will not automatically add this invite to your calendar, so please use the “add to calendar” options included at the bottom of the Zoom confirmation email.
