C-PACE (Commercial Property Assessed Clean Energy) financing allows building owners wishing to undertake energy upgrades to their facilities to do so with minimal, or no, upfront costs, while at the same time realizing significant benefits. This course will explain the intricacies of C-PACE financing and inform appraisers on how they can competently complete appraisals for this innovative program.
At the end of this half-day course, attendees will gain an understanding of the C-PACE process, including what factors appraisers should consider in undertaking a valuation of a C-PACE project and how all related issues may, or may not, impact market value.
The Connecticut Green Bank, administrator of the Connecticut C-PACE program, is continually seeking to add appraisers knowledgeable about how energy-saving measures add value to buildings to our list of qualified appraisers for future assignments.
The MBREA | The Association for Valuation Professionals is our education partner for this seminar and will be issuing completion certificates to attendees. This seminar is approved for 4-hours of appraisal continuing education credit in Connecticut.
